Carla just wrapped up our Fall Wellness Challenge this month and here’s what she had to say about it!
Before she joined the Challenge, her biggest struggle was staying on track with eating habits and exercise. She says “I didn’t like how I was looking or feeling and often felt guilt over not being able to control my eating. I hated photos and rarely felt comfortable in my clothing.”
“You showed me a new approach to eating and how to not focus solely on calories and control. I could eat well balanced meals and so much more protein leaving me feeling full more often. My workouts have been amazing with the 5:30am crew and so I feel happier and stronger!”
During the Challenge, we focused on the Nutrition, Network, Movement, Mindset, Sleep, and Stress – the Super Six Elements of Health. On the Nutrition side of things, we worked on strategies to get more protein throughout the day and using plate method to build lunches and dinners, even when eating out.
When we asked Carla what she was most proud of so far, she said “My clothing feels better and I feel healthy! Losing 7lbs and 4% body fat has been life changing and motivates me to keep going. I’ve had so many compliments on how fit I’m looking!”.
