Youth Programs at Rocked!

Our youth programs at Rocked (ages 3-11) are built around having fun, building confidence, and learning new skills through movement. The most important part of our kids programs is fun. Why? Because if they’re not having fun, they won’t want to participate again. Exercise and fitness doesn’t have to be about making a team or being competitive in a sport. The most basic thing we can teach kids is that they can have fun moving their bodies and exercising – forever. Maybe they will go on to a competitive sport, but maybe they won’t. Either way, building strength and conditioning should be part of every child and adults life. Having fun early helps build this habit and mindset around exercise.

In our Rocked youth classes we do our very best to keep the kids moving as much as possible instead of standing around and waiting for their turn. Kids have energy and they need to move around to get it out. It helps them pay attention, relieve stress, and feel good about working hard.

We have years to help them gain strength, agility, power, coordination, and balance – we start with making it enjoyable and teach them that trying new things is and will always be “cool”. You can’t possibly be the expert at something you’ve never done before and developing skills takes practice.

We challenge the kids with new tasks and movements for their bodies. We support them to be able to reach their full potential and develop confidence in themselves.

Our youth programs typically run for 4-6 weeks but we have also had teams or other groups reach out for specific training options for their group!
